MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – Digital FCU yesterday said it has signed with Guardian Analytics to implement the company’s FraudMAP online fraud prevention system.
The system will provide the $4 billion credit union with detailed, accurate fraud alerts for its internal fraud operations team to prevent online fraud attempts, as well as improve its ability to prevent multi-channel fraud schemes that involve online account compromises.
The company said FraudMAP will reduce the volume of alerts and false positives experienced with prior approaches, and will expedite investigations. FraudMAP's Dynamic Account Modeling automatically detects when any online activity is inconsistent with expectations for that member’s account. Breaches are detected before the information can be stolen and used maliciously in other channels.
