FLINT, Mich. – Dort FCU yesterday announced the launch of its online only, no-fee saving and checking accounts that offer above-average interest rates.
The credit union’s IndiGO accounts will pay: 3.05% for regular shares; 1.8% for checking accounts with balances up to $49,999; 3.25% for checking accounts with between $49,999 and $99,999, and, 3.45% for checking accounts with $100,000 or more. Rates will be reviewed monthly.
Current Dort Federal members are able to open IndiGO accounts and can convert their Dort Federal accounts to an IndiGO account.
IndiGO members will be classified as members of Dort Federal but won't have access to loans, mortgages or other products unless they apply for a traditional Dort Federal membership.
