MIDLAND, Mich. – Longview Elementary School and Eastlawn Elementary School received hundreds of school supplies from Dow Chemical Employees' CU and its staff on Presidents' Day yesterday.

The credit union closed for the day to provide an annual staff training, listen to a national speaker and participate in the project to benefit the local elementary schools.
Employees donated a variety of items, including markers, crayons, tissues, hand sanitizer, glue sticks, tape, scissors, pencils, paper, highlighters, staplers, chalk, paints, folders, construction paper, labels and sticky notes.
