MINNEAPOLIS – Fair Isaac Corp., maker of the ubiquitous FICO credit score, said net income for its fiscal first quarter declined 35% amid trouble among its credit union and bank customers.
The company earned net income of $20.2 million, or 39 cents a share, for the quarter as revenues declined 4% to $199.4 million.
Separately, Fair Isaac said it has agreed to acquire Dash Optimization, which develops and markets Xpress-MP, a software product for modeling and optimization. Fair Isaac said it plans to integrate the process into its own Decision Middleware.
The purchase price for Dash was $32 million.
