Eddy Federal Credit Union selects Sharetec for core conversion

Eddy Federal Credit Union of Carlsbad, N. M., has selected Sharetec System as its new core processing partner.

Donna Davis, CEO of the $52 million-asset credit union, said in a statement Wednesday that Sharetec’s core system met all of the CU’s needs in terms of both costs and offering up-to-date technology. The new feature will allow Eddy FCU to offer mobile banking, remote deposit capture and online loan applications, among other services.

“Sharetec and Eddy FCU are looking forward to a lasting relationship,” said Richard Place, Sharetec VP of sales.

Eddy FCU posted net income of about $354,000 through the first nine months of 2018, compared to a loss of almost $63,000 for the same period in 2017.
