KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Educational Community CU is offering 21 scholarships totaling $23,000 to its members.

The scholarship awards include 19 $1,000 scholarships and two $2,000 scholarships, created and named the Donna vanWestrienen Scholarship and the Robert E. Treloar Scholarship to honor these two individuals for their dedicated service on the credit union’s board of directors for more than 20 years.
To be eligible, students must be a primary credit union member in good standing for at least one year; a high school senior with a minimum 3.0 grade point average; and accepted and enrolled in an accredited post-secondary school for the fall semester of 2010.
