Eight People Named As Inaugural Filene Research Fellows

The Filene Research Institute has created a new "Filene Research Fellows" program it says is designed to broaden its ties with top researchers on subjects related to consumer finance and public policy issues.

The eight initial fellows will each serve two-year terms and may serve up to a maximum of three terms. The group will meet twice each year via conference call and once each year at a designated Filene Research Council event.

The inaugural group of Filene Research Fellows includes: Alec Horniman, Professor of Business Administration, Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Virginia; Will Jackson, Visiting Research Scholar, The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and Adjunct Faculty Member, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill; Jinkook Lee, Professor of Consumer Science, Ohio State University; Barbara Robles, Associate Professor, School of Social Work and National Center for Community Development & Civil Rights, Arizona State University; J. Edward Russo, S.C. Johnson Family Professor of Management, Professor of Marketing and Behavioral Science, Cornell University; Les Silverman, Director Emeritus, McKinsey & Co.; Peter Tufano, Professor of Financial Management, Harvard Business School , and Jim Wilcox, Professor of Financial Institutions, UC-Berkeley.
