LOUISVILLE, Ky. – An employee at Beacon Community CU was charged with stealing the personal account information of dozens of members, then obtaining credit cards in their names to tap into their accounts.
Investigators say 25-year-old Jorge Felitas, and an alleged accomplice, 26-year-old Yohan Villafana, used the cards to buy thousands of dollars in merchandise at Best Buy and to withdraw cash at area ATMs.
The pair are scheduled for arraignment later this month.
