Employee Charged With Stealing To Support Gambling Habit

PITTSBURGH – A former employee of Murrysville MSA Branch Employee FCU last week was charged with stealing more than $127,000 from the credit union to help support her gambling addiction.

Lori Smith, 49, admitted in September to stealing the money and was fired from her position at the credit union.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 16.
