Employees Robbed Loading ATM

HAMPTON, Va. – An unidentified man made off with a box of cash during a snatch-and-grab-type robbery at a Langley FCU last Thursday morning.

Two credit union employees were attempting to load an exterior ATM with money about 9:40 a.m. when they were approached by a man in his early to mid-20s.

Before the employees could get to the machine, the man snatched the box, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash, and fled the Route 17 bank on foot in an unknown direction, according to police.
