Ent Recognizes Staff Who Helped Stop Scammers

Ent FCU has recognized 12 employees with cash awards for successfully identifying and stopping fraudulent transactions during 2005.

"We are proud of these 12 valuable employees who, through their diligence, prevented more than $64,000 in fraudulent transactions," said Randy Bernstein, Ent's Chief Operating Officer.

Among the scams that were stopped were counterfeit postal money orders, an Internet rip-off involving the sale of goods, forged checks and a foreign lottery scam.

Recognized were: Mary Brinkdopke, January Finley, Teri Grignot, Caryn Kuechle, Adrienne Lieb, Courtney Matthews, Samantha Morrison, Lisa Olivas, Janine Shirley, Brianna Spellman, Anabelle Vong, and LaShae Woodard. The group shared $1,750 in cash awards.
