HAMPTON, Va. – A man convicted jailed in early September for robbing a Navy FCU branch was caught Thursday night, three days after he escaped prison here.
Michael Stanback, 28, had been missing from a work detail since Tuesday.
Stanback was serving a 14-year sentence on bank robbery charges, stemming from from the robbery of the credit union robbery in November 2008. Last week’s escape came just three weeks after he began his jail sentence.
