DECATUR, Ala. - (10/26/04) -- Tellers at Wolverine Employees CUfoiled an attempted robbery Friday when they locked the doors justafter they saw a masked bandit headed into the credit union on theparking lot surveillance system. The quick-thinking tellers usedsaw the robber approaching so they used an electronic button tolock all of the credit union's doors, police said. The maskedfigure tried to enter the building, realized the doors were locked,so fled in a waiting car. Police later arrested a 24-year-oldwoman, identified as Kaye Holmes, and charged her with attemptedrobbery.
