The robbers forced the employee to turn over his keys and open the credit union and lead them to the vault, but mechanical problems kept the vault from opening. A technician who arrived at the same time to work on the broken vault door interrupted the crime and the robbers used the employee’s keys to steal his GMC Jimmy SUV, in which they escaped.  The car has been recovered; no arrests have been made and no one was injured.
