Federation Extends Deadline for Community Development Program

The National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions has extended the deadline to apply for paid fellowship to study development lending.

The Federation extended the deadline to July 15 to register for the Cooperative Finance Leaders for America fellowship. The training program is six-day program in New York, held at the New School's Milano School of International Affairs.

The program brings together recent college graduates, graduate students and mid-career professionals. The participants will study community development lending, financial statement analysis, peer analysis and forecasting and numerous other subjects.

The Foundation hosts the program to foster its goal of improving the financial lives of low-income consumers.
