WASHINGTON – Federal antitrust regulators on Friday approved First Data Corp.’s acquisition of online banking services provider FundsXpress Inc. The acquisition is one of a whirlwind of deals involving First Data, which acquired ATM network Instant Cash Services from Wells Fargo last month, just before it agreed to be acquired by private equity giant Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. for $29 billion. FundsXpress provides a variety for credit unions, including online banking, bill payment and security. First Data has not disclosed the financial terms of the deal.
