JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Fidelity National Information Services, which last year was spun off from Fidelity National Title, last week said it plans to spin off its lender processing divisions over the next few months and will name it Lender Processing Services Inc.
The company itself was created by the conglomeration of several back-office service providers, including Certegy, Aurum Technologies, ALLTEL Information Services, VISTA Information Solutions, Sanchez Computer Associates and InterCept–all of which were combined with the title company.
After the latest spin off, Jeff Carbiener, currently executive vice president and chief financial officer for Fidelity National, will become president and CEO of Lender Processing Services.
Lee Kennedy, who headed Certegy, will continue to serve as president and CEO of Fidelity National.
