JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Back-office service provider Fidelity National Information Services yesterday reported net income for its fourth quarter rose 44% to $108.4 million, or 55 cents a share.
Revenues were up 20% for the quarter to $1.33 billion. The company said the revenue increase mainly was due to growth in the company's transaction processing services unit.
Fidelity National Information, which performs data processing and other back-office services, last year split off from Fidelity National Title, the nation’s largest title insurer.
For the full year, net income doubled to $561.2 million, or $2.86 per share.
