CINCINNATI – Fifth Third Processing Solutions, which has emerged as a major player in the credit union market, announced this morning it is changing its name and brand to Vantiv.
Fifth Third, which acquired the processing business of TNB Card Services last year and now serves 800 credit unions, said the new Vantiv brand will evolve over time across different parts of the company, including card services, fraud prevention, and eCommerce.
"Vantiv embodies and advances our strategic direction as we help our customers better achieve their goals," said Charles Drucker, president of the company.
Fifth Third Processing is a joint venture between Cincinnati’s Fifth Third Bancorp and Advent International, a Boston investment fund.
