FIGFCU Offers Wireless Access To Members' Accounts

- LOS ANGELES, (6/20/01)-Farmers Insurance Group FCUis joining an elite group of credit unions that provide wirelessfinancial services to members by offering worldwide access towireless Internet banking through a partnership between the $400million, 30,000 member CU, Harland Financial Solutions and SensComInc. The wireless access will be added to FIGFCU's Internet homebanking service, PC-TIED, and features the ability to pay bills,review account balances and account history, transfer funds, andmake loan payments. Members will be able to access accountinformation from a WAP-enabled (wireless application protocol) cellphone as well as personal digital assistants such as Palm VII orany Microsoft Windows CE enabled device.
