MADISON, Wis. - (10/28/05) -- The credit union think tank FileneResearch Institute has created a new Filene Research Fellowsprogram it says is designed to broaden its ties with topresearchers on subjects related to consumer finance and publicpolicy issues. The aim of the program is to create a formal linkwith thought leaders in the academic, non-profit and financialservices sectors and establish a working group of researchers whowill offer advice and counsel to create vital research for thebenefit of Filene's membership. The group will meet twice each yearvia conference call and once each year at a designated FileneResearch Council event.
