GENEVA, N.Y. — Finger Lakes FCU President/CEO Kathy Crelot is stepping down after 15 years with the $102 million CU.
The 35-year veteran of the credit union industry also has a long history of service to her country, having spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 2 in 2002.
"Kathy has been an invaluable asset to the credit union and to the community. She has instilled her knowledge, work ethic, and family oriented attitude into the staff, Board, and members to keep the Credit Union on track for years to come." said Chairman of the Credit Union Board Bob Stivers in a statement. "The credit union 'family' expresses their sincere appreciation for the years of service and leadership that Kathy brought to the organization. They wish Kathy and her family smooth sailing during her retirement years."
The Finger Lakes FCU board has appointed Robert McFadden as the new President/CEO effective Jan. 1. McFadden has been with the Credit Union for 6 years, currently serving as EVP of retail operations.
