YORK, Penn. – In honor of First Capital FCU’s 55th Anniversary and its 2009 green initiative, the credit union held a year-long contest to give away a green vehicle: a scooter.

To be in the running for the scooter, a member had to take a loan with First Capital during the 2009 calendar year. At the end of the year, five semi-finalists were randomly selected from the nearly 2,000 members who had received a loan, and invited to a Scooter Giveaway Party held Jan. 14, at First Capital’s main branch.
The names of the semi-finalists were individually drawn for prizes. Four members received Visa gift cards, ranging from $25-$100.
