DENVER – First Data Corp. announced yesterday it has acquired Datawire Communication Networks Inc., a provider of Internet-based transaction delivery services. Datawire offers Datawire VXN, a global transaction delivery network, designed to transport any real-time data, like a financial transaction, with maximum security and reliability. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
