First Financial Of Maryland FCU’s Wes Bone Retire After 40 Years

LUTHERVILLE, Md. – After 40 years of service to First Financial of Maryland FCU, Director and former Chairperson J. Wesley Bone concluded his volunteer career in June. Bone has been named Chairman Emeritus of the $700 million credit union.

Bone, a member of the board for 40 years–including 37 as chairman–saw the credit union grow from just $2 million in assets. The credit union was chartered in 1953 as TABCO FCU to serve the Baltimore County School System.

He has been an active member at the credit union for 49 years.
