BROOKFIELD, Wis. – Fiserv, the leading provider of back-office services to credit unions, said yesterday it plans to increase its outsourcing to India five-fold, to 5,000 employees, by the end of 2009. The company, which began its outsourcing in India in 2005, currently employs 1,000 people there. Fiserv said its India operations play a significant role in its globalization strategy.
