ANCHORAGE, Alaska - (0/16/04) -- ChangePoint, an evangelical Christianchurch, has agreed to buy a defunct seafood plant form the statewith credit union backing and turn it into a church and indoorsports complex. The $24.5 million acquisition will be financed by$20.5 million in loans form the Alaska Industrial Development andExport Authority and a $4 million loan from Evangelical ChristianCU, in Brea, Calif. The credit union loan will pay for the downpayment on the purchase.
