TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida Commerce CU announced has named its chief financial officer Cecilia Homison as its new CEO, succeeding Ron Fye, who is retiring.
Homison, who has been CFO at the $300 million credit union since 2000, began her credit union career at Heritage Trust FCU in South Carolina as the Assistant Vice President/Controller in 1988; and later held the positions of Vice President Finance, Senior Vice President Finance/Controller and Chief Operations Officer.
One of her first acts after taking over as CEO was the naming of seven families to participate in the credit union’s WeLiveFIT $10,000 savings contest. Besides the chance to win the $10,000, each of the seven families will receive $100 per month just for competing in the contest till the end of the year.
