Fomer CU Manager Convicted OfEmbezzlement

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - (06/13/05) -- The former president ofProcessors-Industrial Community CU was found guilty Friday ofstealing $30,000 from the Granite City credit union by using thecredit union's credit card to charge personal expenses. Tina Loyd,36, was found guilty of theft over $300 and could be sentenced toup to five years in prison. During a trial last week prosecutorsproved that Loyd used the credit union's credit card to purchasepersonal items from October 1998 to December 2002.
