SAN ANTONIO, Texas - (10/25/04) -- A former vice president with theFederal Reserve Bank of Dallas pleaded guilty Friday to issuingphony checks on H-E-B FCU. Taylor Barbee, 52, confessed thatbetween Oct. 2003 and March 2004 he issued 38 bogus checks worth$16,500 on the credit union using fictitious names of "T.H. Arbeer"and "Del. R. Taylor." Sentencing is scheduled for Jan.21.
