Former Keesler FCU Employee Jailed ForEmbezzlement

GULFPORT, Miss. - (06/29/06) – A former at Keesler FCU wassentenced to 17 months in prison and ordered to pay $105,000restitution to a scheme transferring members’ funds to herown accounts. Gail James, 46, of Gulfport, who worked atKeesler’s main office for two years, made unauthorizedtransfers and used some of the money to buy two vehicles. Thevehicles were sold at auction to help pay James’ restitutionorder.
