EASTON, Pa. - (03/09/05) -- The live-in girlfriend of a suspectin January's robbery at First Commonwealth FCU testified in courtMonday how the man counted out stacks of $100-, $50- and $20-billshe had stolen form the credit union at an apartment they shared inthe days following the heist. The suspect, Roderick Sutton, had noplans for the smaller bills. "That was his spending money," thegirlfriend, Jacqueline Olsen, testified. Olsen told the court sheoverheard Sutton boat over the phone that we was going to commit abank robbery. Sutton was arrested after Olsen turned him in andpolice found evidence, including weapons, a mask and cash wrappersform the credit union in Olsen's Jeep, used by Sutton, linkingSutton to the robbery. After the hearing the court found enoughevidence to send Sutton to trial.
