JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - (05/02/05) -- Marine FCU said its annual CharityGolf Tournament, held Friday, raised a high of $54,000 for areacauses. The money, raised by 180 golfers, will go to support theU.S. Military's United Service Organizations (USO), the local CrimeStoppers and Lids 4 Kids. The 11th annual tournament was held atthe Jacksonville Country Club.
The top five banks and thrifts have combined total assets of nearly $13 trillion.
