The World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) attracted more than 1,000 people from more than 30 countries to its International Leadership Institute at the Atlantis Hotel here. During the meeting, WOCCU CEO Arthur Arnold said the group will launch a major inititative later this year aimed at developing "good governance," especially in developing countries where Arnold conceded that corruption is a threat to credit union viability.
