SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah - (12/16/04) -- Hartvigsen School unveiled its newmulti-sensory room for severally and multiply disabled studentsthis week. The facility was built with a $16,000 grant from the100% for Kids, the Utah CU Education Foundation, is designed tostimulate the senses and invite exploration for students with majorhandicaps. The facility offers aromatherapy and soothing music; adisco ball to reflect multi-colored light; and various physicalaids to stimulate the senses, including large rubber mats, atrampoline, a ball pit and low-hanging swings.
