HANSCOM AFB, Mass.–Hanscom FCU said it will pay a $600,000 “loyalty dividend” to its members, representing a 2% bonus on dividends earned and loan interest paid during 2009.
“With headlines still filled with news of financial institutions that put their own interests ahead of all else, I think our loyalty dividend has never been more important than now,” said Chairman Paul Marotta.
The $760-million credit union reported it grew deposits $106 million and loans $81 million during the year. Hanscom FCU has 44,183 members.
