HAPO Community CU Buys Naming Rights To Police Dog

PASCO, Wash. – The Pasco Police Department, the recipient of a $12,000 grant from HAPO Community CU to buy a new K-9 dog, has agreed to name the canine “Hapo.”

The city said it was able to acquire the dog only because of a $12,000 donation from the Richland-based credit union.

HAPO has 14 branches, two of them in Pasco.
