HAR-CO CU Awards Teachers Of The Year With $11,000

BEL AIR, Md. – Ten of a local school district’s best teachers were rewarded with $1,200 from HAR-CO CU as part of the district’s annual Teacher of the Year awards.

This year’s winner, Lisa Mullen, a language arts teacher at North Harford Middle School, also received free use of a new car for a year courtesy of a local car dealer, a Dell laptop computer, a watch, an engraved globe and a plaque.

Mullen will compete for the title of Maryland Teacher of the Year to represent teachers across the state as an educational spokesperson. The state winner will be announced at the Maryland Teacher of the Year Gala in October.
