BROCKTON, Mass. – HarborOne CU, the Bay State’s second-largest credit union, unveiled a $100,000 marketing campaign aimed at highlighting its roots in this working-class suburb of Boston.
The $1.7 billion credit union began running print, radio and TV ads in late January and the campaign had been scheduled to wrap up at the end of this month, but could decide to extend the initiative.
The campaign is the credit union’s most expensive marketing effort since 2006.
The credit union, known until five years ago as Brockton CU, has about 135,000 members who live or work in one of four counties in Southeastern Massachusetts.
