PLEASANTON, Calif. – Harland Financial Solutions’ has tweaked the branding of its UltraData data processing subsidiary according to how a credit union uses the company. As part of a market segmentation strategy reported in August in The Credit Union Journal, its solution is now delivered as either UltraData Enterprise or UltraData Essentials. “Not all credit unions are the same. Some prefer a more strategic relationship with us, and they look to us to engage with them at a very strategic level in their business. Others describe their needs as much more tactical with a focus on day to day operational issues,” says David McConney, EVP--general manager for the Credit Union Core Systems group of Harland Financial Solutions. UltraData Enterprise serves the mid and large-size credit union segments of the UltraData client base as either a service bureau offering from the company’s state-of-the-art Enterprise Services Center in Des Moines, Iowa or as an in-house solution. UltraData Essentials serves the smaller segment of the UltraData client base and will be delivered primarily as a service bureau offering.
