Heavy February Ad Buy Targeting Lawmakers

WASHINGTON - The National Center For Member Trust (NCMT) has invested in a major ad buy in Capitol Hill publications targeting lawmakers during the upcoming Governmental Affairs Conference and Hike The Hill season, according to co-founder of the CU think tank and State Employees CU CEO Jim Blaine.

NCMT has created a series of 24 ads advocating the benefits of the CU movement to the nation.

But Blaine said NCMT has a much broader vision for these ads, which he hopes to see run well outside the Beltway. After their initial publication on Capitol Hill, NCMT will be making the entire series of ads available to credit unions for use in their hometown newspapers.

The "Your Credit Union. It's about people, not profit" logo and tagline can be swapped out for the CU's own logo and tagline, allowing credit unions to personalize the ads.
