Homeless Man Charged In CUHeist

SAGINAW, Mich. - (03/02/05) -- A Lexington, Ky., man who claims heis homeless, was charged with robbing Town & Country CU lastweek with a toy gun. Bruce Rutherford, 43, was charged with onecount of bank robbery and three counts of armed robbery after hewas arrested walking near the credit union after the robbery withstolen cash in his coat. The toy gun was found in his clothing butwas not displayed during the hold-up, police said.
