Hood Meets With State Regulators In Kentucky, Kansas, Colorado

NCUA Vice Chairman Rodney Hood made his first visit to a state regulatory agency when he visited the Kentucky Office of Financial Institutions (OFI), where he met with Executive Director Cordell Lawrence and others to discuss issues common to state and federally chartered credit unions including taxation, fields of membership, and data collection.

After his trip to Kentucky, Vice Chairman Hood visited with state regulatory agencies in Kansas (where he met with John Smith) and Colorado (where he met with Chris Myklebust). Meanwhile, during a trip to Chicago, Hood visited Mid-States Corporate FCU, Hawthorn Credit Union, and also served as a lunchtime speaker during NASCUS' board Meetings.
