NEW ORLEANS – LA DOTD said it’s latest in-school credit union project, which will ne known as Hornet’s Nest CU, opened yesterday in Scotlandville Magnet High School.

The Hornet’s Nest is the first high school branch for the $100 million credit union, which also operates three branches in other school districts.
Hornet’s Nest CU will offer savings and checking accounts, check-cashing services, debit cards, deposit services and limited cash withdrawals. Two Scotlandville Magnet High School seniors participating in Louisiana’s Cooperative Education Program will hold paid positions at the credit union as part-time employees of LA DOTD FCU.
