POCATELLO, Idaho – Students at Idaho State University will be able to use their student ID as a debit card for Idaho State University CU starting fall semester.
The One-Card BengalCard will provide students, faculty and staff with rewards points at select merchants around town. Parents of students may visit one of the 4,300 shared branches locations that the credit union participates with to reload the cards.
In addition, a portion of each transaction that a card user makes will be allocated back to the university.
The BengalCard is part of an expanded effort by the credit union to penetrate its core ISU market, which will include a new branch in the Pond Student Union Building this fall. The credit union sponsors the ISU rugby team and gives a number of scholarships to students.
