SOUTH BEND, Ind. Authorities are investigating the unauthorized withdrawal of funds last weekend from accounts at at least two local credit unions from ATMs as far away as Russia, Ukraine, Spain and Nigeria.

Teachers CU is investigating the source of the fraudulent withdrawals that affected 97 of its members, and Notre Dame FCU reported overseas withdrawals on at least 10 of its accounts.
One woman told police about $106 had been withdrawn from her account at a site in Novosivirsk, Russia, authorities said. Another man reported $1,300 taken from his account in the same city.
Officials at the two credit unions were putting blocks on the targeted countries while they investigate the source of the breach.
