Irish CU League Taps Kieron Brennan To Head Trade Association

DUBLIN, Ireland - The Irish League of Credit Unions has named Kieron Brennan as its new CEO. Brennan had previously headed up the not-for-profit group Pobal, which focuses on the funding of community development projects, and manages projects on behalf of the irish government and the European Union. Brennan, 48, replaces Liam O’Dwyer, who resigned in 2007. The Irish League of Credit Unions represents 521 credit unions.(c) 2008 The Credit Union Journal and SourceMedia, Inc.
