MIRAMAR, Fla. - (05/04/06) -- There was a sturdy new participantin Eastern Financial Florida CUs second annual 'Swing forthe Kids' golf tournament--and more than a few embarrassed putters.That's the 118 golfers out of 130 beaten in the putting contest bythe 'Iron Tiger,' a robot created by students at nearby Blanche ElyHigh School. The robotic putter was named for the high school'smascot, and not the famous golfer. The event raised $58,000 onbehalf of His House in Opa-Locka and The Haven in Boca Raton, bothchildren's organizations.
