ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.–PSCU Financial Services has implemented the ChangeGear change management solution from SunView.

The CUSO, which supports more than 1,100 institutions and manages more than 11 million accounts, reported that ChangeGear has automated the creation, tracking and approval of change requests. PSCU-FS said it also has a much clearer understanding of the way changes affect its IT infrastructure.

Mobile Banking Expanded

LAS VEGAS-CheckFree Corporation, a division of Fiserv, has expanded its OpenChannel strategy for mobile banking and payments.

The expanded mobile strategy is designed to support multiple technologies for delivering online financial services via mobile devices, including micro browser-based wireless application protocol, text messaging and device-resident applications.

Deployment options include hosted, software-based, hybrid and flexible component models.

CheckFree’s focus in the mobile channel has been on the device-resident downloadable application, offered via partnership with Firethorn Holdings LLC.

America First Credit Union is among the CheckFree customers that has announced its selection of the device-resident approach.

Receipt Printer Gets Nod

ITHACA, N.Y.–RP Solutions Inc. certified the TPG A776 receipt/slip printer with integrated check scanner for use with its suite of products.

The TPG A776 features both a receipt/slip printer and a check scanner in one unit. The device is approved for RP Solutions’ payment and deposit processing applications including ExpertRPS, ExpertCHK and AR Express.

FIS Teams With mFoundry

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.–Fidelity National Information Services Inc. inked an agreement with mFoundry to use the company’s Spotlight Financial Platform to host mobile banking and payment solutions for FIS’ credit union clients.

Customers and members of participating financial institutions will be able to check account balances, transfer funds, and view and pay bills via cell phones and other mobile devices.

The newly forged relationship will bring mobile banking and payment solutions to FIS’ customer base of more than 9,000 financial institutions in the U.S.

DigitalPersona Offers New Software

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.–DigitalPersona Inc., a provider of fingerprint authentication solutions for enterprise networks and commercial applications, announced the availability of DigitalPersona Online 4.2 software–its latest secure sign-on solution for web-based applications.

Digital FCU Converts To XP2

BROOKFIELD, Wis.–XP Systems, a business unit of Fiserv Inc., announced that Digital FCU of Marlborough, Mass. has successfully converted to the XP2 in-house system in a transition that brought at least seven major new systems live in tandem with a 26-hour core system conversion.

The technology overhaul at Digital FCU spanned all of the $3.9-billion credit union’s operations and remote delivery services, centering on XP Systems’ core processing solution and integrating an array of Fiserv and other technology solutions.

Due to the success of the conversion process, the 330,000 member DFCU opened its doors to members one day earlier than planned, including its headquarters, operations center and all 18 branch locations.
