Jack Henry Reports Higher Earnings

MONETT, Mo. – Jack Henry & Associates yesterday posted a 5% increase in earnings for its fiscal second quarter, fueled by a 15% rise in revenue.

Second quarter net income was $29.2 million, or 32 cents a share, while revenue was $192.2 million.

For the first six months of fiscal 2008, revenue increased 16% to $367.6 million, while net income rose 7% to $52.7 million, over the same six months in fiscal 2007.

Jack Prim, CEO of the credit union service provider, said the company experienced solid growth in both its banking and credit union segments, with bank revenue increasing 14% and credit union revenue increasing 18% for the quarter compared to a year ago.
